This had nothing to do with O'Malley. This was Ehrlich and company at their worst and there was a racial component to the attempts to suppress voter turnout in that the majority of the calls were targeted to minorities. You can't spin that any other way.

This is just gerrymandering. Everybody does it. Both Republicans and democrats use gerrymandering to sway elections and dilute the votes of constituents they believe will not vote in their favor. However, just because everybody does it, doesn't make it right.

I do not support the new plan. Donna Edwards new District is terrible and so are a few others. Like 10 years ago, I beleive the Court will over throw this plan and issue a new one.

I can not wait another 13 months while the government representatives sit on their hands and do nothing to improve this economy. Families are in serious trouble in this country...at least in the 99% group of Americans. The only cuts in spending I THINK WE NEED ARE FOR THE SALARIES OF THESE DO NOTHING WASHINGTON REPRESENTATIVES (REPUBLICANS) MAINLY AND A FEW DEMOCRATS. Can we cut their salaries because I would have been fired long ago for not doing my job for almost 3 years. I want to see these people out of office and the political system overhauled with real Americans as representatives not these millionaires in office. We Americans deserve to be able to work and make a living to support our families.

The best plan I saw coming out of DC, came out of the House of Representatives: "Cut, Cap & Balance", (aka HR2560). It was reasonable, balanced and most of all responsible. Pres. Obama asked for a raise in the debt ceiling and CCB gave it to him. With CCB, they said "yes" to him and he demanded more. It's disgusting. If I did that in my own family, they'd tie me up.

So digging an even deeper hole--a $16.3-TRILLION debt from our current $14.3-TRILLION debt--is not enough? DC needs to stop spending money we don't have, stop borrowing
money we can't pay back!

Even better, CCB began the process of a Balanced Budget Amendment. We families have to
live within our means, so should our government.

Yes, "our" government. A government of the people, for the people and by the people. Not a government of an uber-powerful President and Congress who ignore the will of the people. That is why they are called the House of Representatives. They represent the people. And the people's House has spoken. Pass something like Cap, Cut and Balance!

I cannot believe how irresponsible Gov. O'Malley was when he arrogantly asserted the lie that the $787 BILLION "stimulus" (which probably ended up being closer to $1-TRILLION in irresponsible spending) actually "saved or created jobs." What a joke.
